“Newspaper Boxes” Blue Sky Team Project
The Northeast Herald, McHenry County’s only daily newspaper provided the medium for this team exercise is public art. Following the same process as the group projects, the participants, working in teams of three, were free to develop their own visual concepts. The only stipulations were that the coin slot and viewing window must remain intact.
In the fall of 2005, the vending boxes went back in the field throughout McHenry County, hopefully providing creative inspiration as well as all the news that’s fit to print!
