Translations, Shaw Pong’s major project this summer took her ongoing solo exploration of birdsong, “A Bird a Day” and opened it up exponentially as a collaboration with choreographer Rodney Veal, seventeen professional and local dancers and musicians, and seven Blue Sky youth participant crew members, with the counsel of two local naturalists/birders.
